Collecting employee feedback is only useful if employees actually tell you the truth. When they don't, your data is skewed and your decisions are based on a distorted picture of reality. The problem is trust. Many employees have seen companies ask for feedback, promise anonymity, and then do nothing, or worse - act on it in ways that feel punitive. Once that trust is gone, honest responses are hard to get back. We've studied this in depth and shared all our findings in this article.
